Mrs. Frances Henning

K-4 - Mrs. Frances Henning

This is Frances' second year with our pre-kindergarten students. She serves along with Mrs. Boeding. Together they make a terrific team. As a long time "homeschool Mom", her own sons are beautiful examples of the results of pouring God's Word into youngsters, year after year.

Mrs. Kathye Boeding

K-5 - Mrs. Kathye Boeding

Mrs. Boeding taught in southern California Christian schools for 14 years, before moving to Washington - and ACS - in 2007. Her love for "little people" is abundantly evident. Mrs. Boeding states "I believe Christian teachers should hold to a higher standard than the general Christian population because we are role models." She integrates Biblical truths throughout each subject that she teaches. Mrs. Boeding teams with Mrs. Henning in the kindergarten classes.

Mrs. Sandra Seastone

1st and 2nd - Mrs. Sandra Seastone

Having a strong drive to help children read at an early age, Mrs. Seastone cultivates within her students, that desire. If you visited her room, you would find Mrs. Seastone's class "on-task", listening for directions, and learning to be excellent students. We know that a good reader has the tools to learn other valuable lessons. Mrs. Seastone teaches first and second graders to master reading! She's been teaching over 30 years; and came to ACS in 1998.

Mrs. Sheila Craft

3rd through 5th - Mrs. Sheila Craft

Mrs. Craft incorporates her love of the French language and culture into her unique style of teaching the 3-Rs and more. Students sing in French, travel (through books and pictures) to France, and of course, gain a rudimentary use of the language. Transferring from a California Christian school four years ago, Mrs. Craft immediately demonstrated her leadership skills by heading up the ACS Arts & Authors Fair.

Mr. Mel Mehrtens

Secondary - Mr. Mel Mehrtens

A strong teacher of U.S. History, Civics, and Government, Mr. Mehrtens also served as Principal in his early years at ACS. His own three daughters have attended this school, where he loves developing young leaders for use in God's Kingdom. Mr. Mehrtens also oversees the active Student Council and their project, the student store, known as "The Lunch Box".

Mr. Arthur Watson

Secondary - Mr. Arthur Watson

Mr. Watson, having a long career as Teacher/Principal, made his debut at ACS in 2004. His willingness to serve wherever needed, brings great value to any school, blessed enough to engage him. His great loves are Bible, History, Literature, and Geography. Mr. Watson's joy in serving Jesus, is contagious. Wherever he goes, you'll find students following. Mr. Watson is always ready with a story and a life application.

Mr. Hugh Galbraith

Secondary - Mr. Hugh Galbraith

He's a teacher, a motivational speaker, a sports enthusiast, a cook, a puppeteer, and much, much more. His basic rule is "Respect one another." Students respond to his class management style, thus they're ready to learn as he teaches math, science and English. His unique way of teaching might incorporate "journaling" on a rafting experience, or writing about a chapel message. But his years of experience bring a new appreciation for writing in a class setting.

Substitute - Mrs. Carolyn Curtis-Raport

A teacher (WA certified), published author, counselor, and Christian speaker, Mrs. Raport has been a blessing to ACS in a number of capacities over the years. She can teach most grades and most subjects. When Mrs. Raport speaks...students listen.

Substitute - Mrs. Kathy Walter

Ready to fill in whenever and wherever needed, Mrs. Walter's love of the Lord, His Word, and His people shines through her ministry.
